You will not want to miss this opportunity to see a near-total solar eclipse. The Great American Eclipse will occur on Monday, August 21st. A total eclipse last occurred on the U.S. Mainland on Feb. 26, 1979. August 2017 marks the first time in 99 years that the event will be visible to people from coast to coast. The eclipse will begin at 10:20 am, peak at 11:43 am, and end at 1:11 pm. We will also have NASA’s live stream of the total eclipse playing in the community room. All ages welcome.
