Aspen Historical Society partnered with Aspen Skiing Company to restore a 1930s-era snow screw that was commissioned by Aspenite DRC Brown in 1938 and donated to the AHS Collection by Steve Knowlton in 1991. Thanks to Aspen/Snowmass mechanics, the vehicle runs again, moving across the snow on giant pontoon-shaped “screws.” Gear-heads of all ages will enjoy seeing this wild ride!
