Let's Talk About It: Interfaith Dialogue - My Way or the Highway

A community conversation to help you practice speaking from your heart and listening deeply. Now, more than ever, it is of vital importance for us to learn to connect with people who differ from us. During this interfaith dialogue, we will discuss questions to help us consider ways we are sometimes intolerant of difference and how we might all be more accepting. This is an opportunity to speak about your experience with faith, religion, and spirituality. People from any religious background, those who identify as spiritual, agnostic, and atheist are all welcome! This is not a seminar or lecture, but rather an opportunity to participate in meaningful conversation. The goal of this dialogue is not to change anyone's mind or push agendas, but about learning how to hold space for difficult conversations. Please invite your friends and neighbors, including those with different identities and backgrounds. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time. 

Una conversación comunitaria para ayudarte a hablar con el corazón y a escuchar profundamente. Ahora, más que nunca, es de vital importancia que aprendamos a conectar con personas que son distintas a nosotros. Durante este diálogo interreligioso responderemos a preguntas que nos ayudarán a considerar las maneras en que ocasionalmente somos intolerantes ante aquellos que son diferentes a nosotros, y aquellas en las que podríamos volvernos más receptivos. Esta es una oportunidad de hablar sobre tu experiencia con la fe, la religión y la espiritualidad. Este diálogo da la bienvenida a personas con diversas formaciones religiosas, incluyendo aquellos que se identifican como espirituales, agnósticos y ateos. No es un seminario o cátedra, sino más bien una oportunidad de participar en conversaciones profundas. El objetivo de este diálogo no es cambiar la forma de pensar de los demás ni convencerles de seguir un plan específico, sino más bien de aprender a reservar un espacio para las conversaciones difíciles.
