49th Annual Basalt Half Marathon

Join the Basalt High School Cross Country Team for Basalt's most historic running race. Racers will be transported from Basalt Middle School to the start line at the base of Ruedi Dam. After a ¼ mile on a dirt road, the racers will descend approximately 1,000 feet in elevation, along the Frying Pan Road (paved) and finish at Basalt Middle School. There will be four aid stations along the way and each mile is clearly marked. If 13.1 miles isn't quite in your wheelhouse, grab a friend and cut the distance in half with the relay division. 6:15am-Race day registration and packet pick-up 7:00am- Buses depart BMS for start line 7:45am- Race start 9:00am- Post-race party and awards ceremony at BMS All proceeds benefit the Basalt High School Cross Country Team
