2026 Basalt River Jams

The Town of Basalt presents a free festival featuring music, food, beverages, and river activities for the entire family on Saturday, June 27 at Basalt River Park from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m..

MUSIC

• 6:30 p.m. | The Know Bodies Band
• 8 p.m. | Cruz Contreras and the Black Lillies.

ACTIVITIES
11 am Registration
12 – 2 pm Tubing and Ducky Dash - Sign Up (The first 25 people will get a free tube and Duckie. Participants must wear life preserver)
2:30 – 3 pm Kayak Races - Sign Up (Participants must wear life preserver and helmet)
3 – 3:30 pm Paddleboard Race - Sign Up  (Participants must wear life preserver and helmet)
3:30 – 4:30 pm Raft Race - Sign Up  (Participants must wear life preserver and helmet)
5 pm – Flyfishing Cast Competition with Frying Pan Anglers
6 pm – Cash Prizes and Awards Ceremony
7:30-8 pm Aspen Polynesia dancers sponsored by Aspen Dance Connection (between bands)

Shuttles provided by Blazing Adventures & River Races hosted by Whitewater Racing LLC

The Roaring Fork Conservancy and Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be assisting with boat cleaning stations to help mitigate zebra mussel contamination.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Drinks will be sold on site. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available as well as food trucks. We also encourage you to visit our local restaurants before, during, and after the events for drinks and dinner. No outside alcohol is permitted inside the concert venue. You may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the event.

FOR YOUR COMFORT AT BASALT RIVER PARK

The venue is an ideal picnic spot. You may bring coolers and meals from home and non-alcoholic beverages. Beverages must be in unopened, sealed containers. Consider bringing a blanket or low chairs and appropriate clothing for rain and colder evening temperatures.
